We’ve been in Palomino for 3 days. A small place directly at the Caribbean Ocean and at the foot of Sierra Nevada.
A very popular stop for backpackers. They usually stay on the ocean side of the village. Many hostels, shops with handmade stuff and cool bars are there. But if you like it a bit more quite like me, you can take the other side of the road towards the mountains and “jungle”.
Here is is our Eco-Hostel. This wonderful hostel is called Sexto Sentido.

Within 2 years Alisonn&Olivier have built this little paradise out of nothing. There are small huts, typical of the region here.
Half-open with palm leaf roofs. A wonderful garden around where you can hear funny sounds of different birds all the time.
They are from France and offer fresh baguette and/or brioche for breakfast – delicious. And if you want to spend a little more money for dinner, you’ll have a super delicious dinner here.
Olivier cooks “fantastico”! We are absolutely fascinated and we feel lovingly cared.
My absolute “Hostel Top-Tip”! Thank you Alisonn&Olivier
